DIY NETWORK EXTENDS PRODUCTION ON SIX POPULAR SERIES

New York[For Immediate Release - November 4, 2013] More amazing transformations for homes, garages and yards are on the way as DIY Network extends production on six popular series: House Crashers (Josh Temple), Yard Crashers (Matt Blashaw), I Hate My Yard (Sara Bendrick), Garage Gold (Kraig Bantle), Million Dollar Contractor (Stephen Fanuka) and Rescue My Renovation (John DeSilvia).

"Because of the appeal of Josh Temple, Matt Blashaw, Alison Victoria and Matt Muenster, the Crashers' franchise has always been very popular with our viewers, attracting more than 13 million viewers in 3Q 2013 alone," said Steven Lerner, senior vice president, programming, HGTV and DIY Network. "Over the years, we've also focused on building out the DIY Network schedule with even more strong, yet relatable renovation experts like Bendrick, Fanuka and DeSilvia. And we've also added relative newcomers like Bantle who bring a bit more of the `unexpected' to the process of home improvement, while bringing in more than 2.2 million in his show's first season."

DIY Network delivers ambush renovation at its best in new seasons of its "crashers" series. House Crashers (Big Table Media) returns for a tenth season as host and licensed contractor Josh Temple visits home improvement stores looking for unsuspecting weekend warriors who agree to impromptu room makeovers. In the new season of Yard Crashers (Big Table Media), landscape expert Matt Blashaw ambushes homeowners shopping for landscaping supplies and surprises them with a beautiful backyard transformation.

In season two of I Hate My Yard (Magnetic Productions) landscape designer Sara Bendrick returns to whip unruly outdoor spaces into shape with economical and clever landscape designs that turn bad backyards into an outdoor oasis. Season two of Garage Gold (Paper Route Productions) finds host Kraig Bantle and his crew as they continue to clear cluttered dysfunctional garages, attics and basements free of charge if they can keep any valuables they find.

Million Dollar Contractor (Departure Films) with licensed contractor and host Stephen Fanuka returns for a fourth season to give viewers a behind-the-scenes look at some of the most amazing spaces and construction of Manhattan's high-end luxury homes. Returning for season three is Rescue My Renovation (Boy Wonder Productions), a series that documents the serious side of renovation, as host and contractor John DeSilvia helps distressed homeowners combat the structural damage caused by contactors with shoddy workmanship.
