Series to Explore Hollywood's Most Gripping Controversies and Enigmatic Figures

Hour-Long Episodes Will Profile Marilyn Monroe, Michael Jackson, Charlie Sheen, Mel Gibson, Whitney Houston and Robert Downey, Jr.

(Albuquerque, NM) Monday, November 18, 2013 - ReelzChannel today announced that its new weekly, hour-long documentary series Hollywood Scandals will premiere on Friday, November 29 to take viewers behind the scenes of some of the most explosive celebrity headlines that have captivated the world. In Hollywood, stories of drugs, death and sex don't just sell movies and television shows, they're woven into the fabric of a town with no limits - especially when it comes to celebrities. From public meltdowns to private affairs, these are the tales that have come to dominate and define Hollywood: where any vice is a headline and every star has a role to play. New episodes of Hollywood Scandals air Fridays at 9pm ET/ PT.

Hollywood Scandals will provide an in-depth look into some of pop culture's most controversial and intriguing icons and the narratives that have come to characterize them. Several episodes will act as overarching trend retrospectives - examining the unsettling byproducts of fame that have swept headlines for decades, from celebrity arrests to untimely deaths, while others will serve as dedicated, portrait-like chronicles of individual personalities. Among others, Hollywood Scandals will explore the secret affairs and mysterious death of Marilyn Monroe and Robert Downey Jr.'s return from his darker days to current reign as revered box-office idol. This is the definitive postmortem on Hollywood's most infamous moments.

Hollywood Scandals debuts on Friday, November 29 at 9pm ET/ PT with premiere episode, "Celebrity Sex Tapes," delving into the scandals involving Pamela Anderson, Rob Lowe, Colin Farrell, Paris Hilton, Kim Kardashian and Farrah Abraham. "Celebrity Sex Tapes" details each star's salacious tale and takes viewers through the life cycle of a sex tape, from the purported first leak all the way through its ultimate impact on their career and the payouts that often accompany the controversy. Whereas celebrity sex tapes once threatened to destroy careers, they now catapult some into superstardom. How did Hollywood celebrities become the biggest porn stars in the world? And are they victims, or willing participants?

· "Marilyn Monroe" on Friday, December 6, 2013
