U.S. SOCCER STAR LANDON DONOVAN JOINS FOX SPORTS' UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE COVERAGE
U.S. Men's National Team and LA Galaxy forward Landon Donovan joins FOX Sports' lead soccer studio team - Rob Stone, Eric Wynalda, Warren Barton and Brian McBride - as a guest analyst for Match Day 5 of the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday (11/26) and Wednesday (11/27). Coverage on both days kicks off at 2:00 PM ET on FOX Sports 1. In addition to his UEFA Champions League analysis, Donovan previews his role Monday (11/25) on FOX SPORTS LIVE, the network's news, highlights and analysis program airing nightly at 11:00 PM ET, appearing with anchors Jay Onrait and Dan O'Toole, host Charissa Thompson and analysts Donovan McNabb, Gary Payton and Ephraim Salaam.
Extended coverage of the UEFA Champions League resumes on Tuesday with a crucial matchup between Switzerland's Basel and English giants Chelsea, while Wednesday's action features another major English side in Manchester United as they face Germany's Bayer Leverkusen. Donovan, U.S. Soccer's all-time goals and assists leader, began his career with Bayer Leverkusen, making 28 appearances and scoring nine goals, and also played in England for multiple seasons at Everton.
