ONEREPUBLIC TO PERFORM AT "THE 40TH ANNUAL PEOPLE'S CHOICE AWARDS"

Show to be Broadcast Live on CBS, Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2014

Grammy Award-nominated band OneRepublic will perform live at THE 40th ANNUAL PEOPLE'S CHOICE AWARDS, from the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in Los Angeles, Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2014, (9:00-11:00 PM, live ET/delayed PT) on the CBS Television Network. OneRepublic will join the lineup with newly announced performer, Sara Bareilles, at this year's awards show.

THE PEOPLE'S CHOICE AWARDS will celebrate 40 years of fan-voted entertainment this year. Hosted by Kat Dennings and Beth Behrs from the CBS comedy 2 BROKE GIRLS and executive produced by Mark Burnett, the People's Choice Awards continues to be the only major awards show that empowers fans to choose their favorites across categories of movies, music and TV.

"OneRepublic is one of the hottest bands out there today, and we are excited that they are going to perform for us on the People's Choice Awards," said Executive Producer Mark Burnett. "I am personally a huge fan of the band and I am also working with Ryan Tedder on 'The Voice,' so it's all OneRepublic, all the time, and we are thrilled they agreed to come on board for the show."

People's Choice announced last week that fans have cast more than half a billion votes thus far for THE 40th ANNUAL PEOPLE'S CHOICE AWARDS. Voting has closed for most categories, but will remain open for Favorite New TV Comedy, Favorite New TV Drama and Favorite Music Fan Following until the night of the show.

OneRepublic took the world by storm in 2007 with their debut release, Dreaming Out Loud. The album included the smash single "Apologize," which shattered digital sales and airplay records worldwide and, along with second single "Stop And Stare," propelled the album to platinum-plus sales and a Grammy nomination for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals. OneRepublic released their sophomore album, Waking Up, in 2009, and the band had three singles, "All The Right Moves," "Secrets" and "Good Life" top the radio charts.

OneRepublic released their third studio album, Native, last March, when it debuted at #4 on the Billboard top 200 chart. The set includes hits "If I Lose Myself," "Feel Again" and the new single "Counting Stars," which is #6 on Top 40 radio this week. OneRepublic has toured the world, headlining dates in the U.S. and Europe and opening for Bon Jovi and U2.

ABOUT PEOPLE'S CHOICE

Now in its 40th year, the People's Choice Awards continues to be the only major awards show voted on entirely by the public for fan favorites in music, movies and television. The People's Choice official website at www.PeoplesChoice.com houses the voting platform where fans determine the categories, nominees and winners for the annual awards show. Every year, potential nominees are determined by national ratings averages, box-office grosses, music sales, social media presence and PeoplesChoice.com data, then vetted through EPoll Market Research. Fred Nelson is the President of People's Choice, Mark Burnett is the Executive Producer and the awards show is produced by Procter & Gamble Productions, Inc. [NYSE:PG].
