CRACKLE GREENLIGHTS SEASON THREE OF HIT ORIGNAL SERIES "CHOSEN" AHEAD OF SEASON 2 DEBUT

Production On New Season Begins December 17, 2013 in Los Angeles

CULVER CITY, CA (December 11, 2013) - Crackle, the multi-platform entertainment network, announced yesterday their original series "Chosen" has been greenlit for a third season, ahead of its December 12th season 2 premiere.

Production will begin in Los Angeles on December 17, 2013, marking the return of executive producers Ventimiglia alongside series creators Ben Ketai (BENEATH, 30 DAYS OF NIGHT: DARK DAYS) and Ryan Lewis (HIGH SCHOOL, FAT KID RULES THE WORLD, DEMOTED) of Dissident Pictures. Written by Evan Charnov (LOST BOYS: THE THIRST) and Ketai, the new season will premiere in 2014 on Crackle.com and all Crackle platforms.

Packed with non-stop action and shocking plot twists, the second season of "Chosen" premieres on Thursday, December 12th, starring Milo Ventimiglia ("Heroes"), Chad Michael Murray ("One Tree Hill"), Nicky Whelan (HALL PASS, "Scrubs"), Brandon Routh (SUPERMAN RETURNS), Sarah Roemer (DISTURBIA) and Brett Davern ("Awkward").

Continuing the story of Ian Mitchell (Ventimiglia) and his family, the second season of "Chosen" goes deeper into the deadly game the Mitchells were swept into and follows the lives of others who also received mysterious boxes forcing them to kill - or else - including new character Jacob Orr (Murray).

The first season of "Chosen" exceeded expectations as one of Crackle's most-watched original series ever. The paranoiac thriller also saw records for user engagement, with most viewers watching all episodes. As one of the few digital series to return with more episodes, the second season of "Chosen" strengthened Crackle's acclaimed portfolio of originals which includes EXTRACTION, Crackle's first digital feature which debuted in September; the original series "Cleaners," starring Emmanuelle Chriqui, Emily Osment and David Arquette, which debuted October 3; and the Emmy-nominated series "Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee" starring Jerry Seinfeld.
