FX Productions First Project With Louis C.K. and His Pig Newton Production Company Through Recent Overall Deal

PASADENA, CA, January 14 2014, - FX has ordered a comedy series pilot Created by and starring Zach Galifianakis, and co-written by Emmy(R) Award winning Writer/Producer Louis C.K., it was announced today by Nick Grad and Eric Schrier, the Presidents of Original Programing for FX Networks and FX Productions.

Galifianakis serves as Executive Producer. Louis C.K., Blair Breard and Dave Becky are Executive Producers, along with Andrea Pett-Joseph and Marc Gurvitz.

The Galifianakis pilot is the first production under FX Productions recently announced overall deal with Louis C.K. and his production company Pig Newton.

Galifianakis is represented by Brillstein Entertainment Partners. C.K. is represented by 3 Arts Entertainment. Breard is represented by UTA.

FX Productions has 12 comedy pilots currently in production.
