"24: LIVE ANOTHER DAY" APPOINTS TATE DONOVAN

New Thrilling Event Series Debuts with Special Two-Hour Premiere Monday, May 5, on FOX

Tate Donovan ("Damages") will join the presidential cabinet of 24: LIVE ANOTHER DAY as White House Chief of Staff MARK BOUDREAU. 24: LIVE ANOTHER DAY debuts with a two-hour television premiere Monday, May 5 (8:00-10:00 PT ET/PT) on FOX, and makes its time period premiere the following week on Monday, May 12 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT).

In the highly anticipated event series starring Kiefer Sutherland, BOUDREAU is an astute and strong-willed political advisor who is married to President JAMES HELLER's (William Devane) daughter, AUDREY RAINES (Kim Raver) - JACK BAUER's (Sutherland) former flame.

Most recently seen in the network series "Hostages," Donovan's television credits include "Deception," "Damages" and "The O.C.," as well as memorable guest-starring roles on "The Guardian," "Law & Order: Criminal Intent," "Friends" and "Ally McBeal." Behind the camera, Donovan has directed episodes of "Medium," "Deception," "Damages," GLEE, "Gossip Girl," "Weeds," "Nip/Tuck" and "The O.C." Donovan's recent film credits include the Academy Award winner "Argo" and "Good Night, and Good Luck." He also voiced the title character of the animated feature "Hercules." In 2011, Donovan starred on Broadway in the world premiere of "Good People," opposite Frances McDormand. Other theater credits include "Amy's View," with Dame Judi Dench; and "Picnic," with Ashley Judd; as well as the Off-Broadway show, "Lobby Hero."

In 24: LIVE ANOTHER DAY, the stakes are higher than ever for BAUER, who is now an exile being tracked by CIA operations head STEVE HARRIS (Benjamin Bratt, "Law & Order"), agent KATE MORGAN (Yvonne Strahovski, "Dexter"), computer tech JORDAN REED (Giles Matthey, "Jobs") and field operative ERIK RITTER (Gbenga Akinnagbe, "The Wire"). The series also stars Mary Lynn Rajskub ("Firewall"), along with newcomers Michael Wincott ("The Crow") and Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe Award winner Judy Davis ("Life with Judy Garland").

24: LIVE ANOTHER DAY is a production of Teakwood Lane Productions in association with 20th Century Fox Television and Imagine Television. Howard Gordon, Evan Katz, Manny Coto, David Fury, Robert Cochran, Brian Grazer, Jon Cassar and Kiefer Sutherland will executive-produce. The original series, which had its last American broadcast on May 24, 2010, was created by Joel Surnow and Cochran. "Like" 24: LIVE ANOTHER DAY on Facebook at facebook.com/24.
