LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- NBC has canceled its Sean Hayes-led comedy "Sean Saves the World," Deadline.com reports.
Production on the freshman series has been shut down despite three installments to go on its 18-episode order. Its 13 originals to date this season have averaged a modest 3.343 million viewers and 1.296 million adults 18-49 (1.02 rating).
At press time, it was not clear when - or if - the two remaining completed episodes will air.
