CLEMENTINE (ABC/ABC Studios; W: Dean Georgaris; D: Michael Dinner) - Australian actress Sarah Snook has booked the title role on the drama pilot, about Clementine Ross, a habitual criminal who digs into the mystery of her origins after she becomes the target of a group of zealots who fear she possesses latent supernatural abilities that she will one day harness for either profound good or monstrous evil. Edwin Hodge (The Purge) has also been cast in the project as Dr. Anthony Little, her best friend of more than 10 years. David Strathairn also stars. (Deadline.com)


CUZ-BROS (A.K.A. ROOMMATES) (CBS/CTS/Sony; W: David Caspe & Erik Sommers; D: TBA) - David Caspe and Erik Sommers's multi-camera comedy - about "a successful, suave ladies' man whose perfect life gets turned upside down when his mess of a cousin needs a place to stay" - has booked a pilot order at the Eye. CBS Television Studios has also come aboard to co-produce the half-hour alongside Jamie Tarses's Sony Pictures Television-based FanFare banner. (Deadline.com)


THE DORM (MTV, New!) - Alexis Knapp, Cassie Steele and Max Lloyd Jones are set to star in a new original movie at the cable channel about Vivian (Knapp), "an awkward college freshman who struggles with major self-esteem issues but undergoes a transformation into a flawless, seductive beauty at the hands of her new dorm mates." Steele then will play Sarah, "a funny and unpredictable queen bee who turns Vivian into her pet project." Jones's role wasn't specified. Nomadic Pictures is behind the project, which Rachel Talalay is directing from a script by Sean Hood. Chad Oakes, Mike Frislev and Maggie Malina are the executive producers. (Deadline.com)


FRESH OFF THE BOAT (ABC/20th; W: Nahnatchka Khan; D: TBA) - Constance Wu and Randall Park have scored the lead roles on the comedy pilot, set in the 1990s and centering on hip-hop-loving Eddie Huang (yet to be cast), "raised by an immigrant father (Park) who is obsessed with all things American and an immigrant mother (Wu) who is often bewildered by white culture." They'll play said parents, Jessica and Louis, in the project, which is based on Eddie Huang's memoir of the same name. Jake Kasadan also serves as an executive producer. (Deadline.com)


IDENTITY (The CW/CBS; W: Corinne Brinkerhoff; D: Gary Fleder) - Gary Fleder ("Star-Crossed") has signed on to helm the drama pilot, about a young Brooklynite recruited by the CIA to infiltrate her recently discovered biological family, a wealthy and powerful dynasty in Texas suspected of having criminal alliances across the globe. Corinne Brinkerhoff is behind the hour, with K.O. Paper Products and Scripted World co-producing. (Deadline.com)


THE MASON TWINS (NBC/ABC Studios; W: Casey Wilson & June Diane Raphael; D: Robert Duncan McNeill) - Windell Middlebrooks ("Body of Proof") has boarded the comedy pilot, about fraternal twins, Pender (June Diane Raphael) and Lizzie (Erinn Hayes), who reconnect after Lizzie's perfect city life has fallen apart and she returns to her suburban town to find that her sister hasn't matured past her teen queen days. He'll play Chance, "an unkempt gay man who was Lizzie's best (and probably only) friend in high school." (Deadline.com)


THE PRO (NBC/ABC Studios/Universal; W: Alex Gregory & Pete Huyck; D: Todd Holland) - Rob Riggle (22 Jump Street) has joined the cast of the Rob Lowe-led comedy, about "former tennis doubles champion 'Big Ben' Bertrahm (Lowe), whose career flame-out and misguided investments have left him working as the pro at a tennis and golf club, where he tries to hustle and charm his way back into America's 1%." He'll play Bobby Welch, "Ben's former tennis doubles partner who comes to the shop as the new head pro - much to the chagrin of Ben who hasn't spoken to him in years." (Deadline.com)


PROOF (TNT; W: Rob Bragin; D: Alex Graves) - Alex Graves ("666 Park Avenue") has been tapped to direct the drama pilot, about Katherine Russo (yet to be cast), a skeptical, hard science, female surgeon who is persuaded to investigate cases of reincarnation, out-of-body experiences, hauntings to find verifiable proof whether death truly the end. He'll work from a script by Rob Bragin with actress Kyra Sedgwick, Jill Littman and Tom Jacobson also among the executive producers. (Deadline.com)


REDSHIRTS (FX, New!) - John Scalzi's 2012 novel - about "the crew of the 25th century Starship Intrepid who discover a science fiction TV show, produced in the early 21st century, has somehow taken over their reality" - is being developed as a limited series at the cable channel. Jon Shestack, Ken Kwapis and Alexandra Beattie - via the latter duo's In Cahoots banner - are behind said adaptation, which is currently searching for a writer. Kwapis is also attached to helm the opening installment should it move forward. (Deadline.com)


TRIBECA (TBS; W: Nancy Carell & Steve Carell; D: Steve Carell) - Jere Burns and Andrée Vermeulen are on track to join the Rashida Jones-led comedy pilot, about an eccentric but brilliant group of people who investigate crime, reveal way too much personal information about themselves and refuse to rest until justice has been served. He'll play Chet Atkins, "a no-nonsense Police Lieutenant and Tribeca's (Jones) boss." Vermeulen then is set as Dr. Monica Scholls, the bespectacled, brainy and quirky medical examiner. WARRIORS (ABC/ABC Studios; W: Chris Keyser; D: Martin Campbell) - Eloise Mumford ("The River") is the first to be cast in the drama pilot, about "the best and brightest active duty military doctors and nurses as they practice trailblazing medicine." She's set as Stacey Weebling, a member of the Walter Reed Staff with a terrible crush on her boss, George Mann (yet to be cast). Her cast is the result of a talent holding deal the actress signed with the network back in August. (Deadline.com)


AND IN OTHER NEWS... - Nathalie Emmanuel's Missandei has been upped to series regular on the expected fifth season of "Game of Thrones" (Deadline.com); Wilco frontman Jeff Tweedy will guest on "Parks & Recreation" as "the former lead singer of a band called 'Land Ho!' - complete with exclamation point" (EW.com); and Jonathan Del Arco is bound for "The Crazy Ones" as "the flighty husband of Brad Garrett's ad-exec character" (TVLine.com).
