Therapist of Teen Who Pleaded Guilty to Second-Degree Murder Speaks Out
NEW YORK - March 6, 2014 - On Friday, March 7, 2014, in a network exclusive interview, Dave and Mary Neese, the parents of murdered teen Skylar Neese speak out on NBC's "Dateline." In July 2012, 16-year-old Neese disappeared into the night and never returned home. Last week, her friend, 17-year-old Rachel Shoaf was sentenced to 30 years in prison for her role in Neese's death. In January, 18-year-old Sheila Eddy, also a friend, was sentenced to life in prison for the murder. Rachel Shoaf's therapist, Patricia Bailey, opens up to "Dateline." Bailey, who was hired by Shoaf's family, met with the teen after she pleaded guilty to second-degree murder.
Dateline reports the full story of betrayal that went far beyond typical teenage drama. "Something Wicked" Airs Friday, March 7 at 8pm/7c.
