TWO-TIME GOLDEN GLOBE(R) WINNER VALERIE BERTINELLI REUNITES WITH "TOUCHED BY AN ANGEL" EXECUTIVE PRODUCER MARTHA WILLIAMSON FOR HALLMARK CHANNEL'S "SIGNED, SEALED, DELIVERED," A NEW, ORIGINAL PRIMETIME SERIES PREMIERING APRIL 20, 2014

Bertinelli Cast to Guest Star in Two-Episode Arc; Series Stars Eric Mabius, Kristin Booth, Crystal Lowe and Geoff Gustafson

Two-time Golden Globe(R) winning actress Valerie Bertinelli ("One Day at a Time," "Hot in Cleveland," "Touched by an Angel") has been cast to guest star in two episodes of the Hallmark Channel Original Primetime Series, "Signed, Sealed, Delivered," premiering April 20, 2014 (8 p.m.ET/PT, 7C). The role reunites the star with "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" Creator and Executive Producer Martha Williamson, best known as the Executive Producer and creative force behind the mega-hit series "Touched by an Angel," of which Bertinelli joined the cast in its final two seasons. The new series, produced by Muse Entertainment in association with MoonWater Productions, follows a team of four postal detectives who specialize in investigating misdirected letters and delivering them when they are needed most. Bertinelli will portray the team's Mailroom Supervisor, a revolving role featuring TV icons.

"We are thrilled to be working with Valerie on this new series and to see her reunite with Martha Williamson on set," said Michelle Vicary, EVP, Programming, for Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movie Channel. "Her entertaining and comedic charm makes her a perfect fit for this this guest-starring role and we're excited to add her to the series' impressive roster of talented female stars."

Valerie Bertinelli, a two-time Golden Globe(R) winner, currently stars on the hit sitcom, "Hot in Cleveland." After her acting debut in TV commercials, Bertinelli's celebrated career began with landing her big break on the CBS series "One Day at a Time" in 1975. Her awardwinning portrayal of Barbara Cooper for nine years on the show was followed up by starring roles in many primetime TV movies and miniseries - including Hallmark Channel's "Claire" - and series regular spots on "Café Americain" and "Sydney." She also starred in Martha Williamson's hit series, "Touched by an Angel," during its last two seasons. Bertinelli has also seen success as the face of the Jenny Craig Weight Loss Program after losing 40 pounds. As a health and weight-loss activist, she has authored two books and a cookbook, One Dish at a Time, published in 2012.

"Signed, Sealed, Delivered," follows a quartet of unlikely heroes played by Mabius, Booth, Lowe and Gustafson, whose missions take them out of the office into an unpredictable world where redirected letters and packages can save lives, solve crimes, reunite old loves and change futures by arriving late but somehow miraculously on time. Bertinelli will portray the team's charming new supervisor who creates as many challenges as she solves.

"Signed, Sealed, Delivered" is a Muse Entertainment production in association with MoonWater Productions. Executive Producers are Martha Williamson ("Touched by an Angel"), Joel S. Rice ("Cyberbully"), Michael Prupas ("The Kennedys") and Scott Smith ("Call Me Fitz"). Harvey Kahn ("The Haunting Hour") is the producer. Muse Distribution International holds the worldwide distribution rights.
