THE TELEVISION PREMIERE OF JEFF DUNHAM'S "ACHMED SAVES AMERICA" AIRS FRIDAY, MARCH 28 AT 10 P.M., ET/PT ON CMT

Dunham's First-Ever Animated Movie Premieres As Part of CMT's "Can't Stop Laughing Week"

NASHVILLE - March 19, 2014 - From the inventive mind of Jeff Dunham comes ACHMED SAVES AMERICA, the first animated film starring the comedian's famed character, Achmed the Dead Terrorist. ACHMED SAVES AMERICA will make its television debut as part of CMT's CAN'T STOP LAUGHING WEEK on Friday, March 28 at 10:00 p.m., ET/PT.

In ACHMED SAVES AMERICA, the world's most beloved, failed bad guy unexpectedly finds himself in Americaville, USA. "The Little Skeleton That Couldn't" is mistaken as a French exchange student while he plots to destroy the town and all its "infidels." When Achmed is exposed to the sweet things in life though, including all-you-can-eat buffets and frozen yogurt, his campaign of hate turns into a patriotic all-American love fest.

Comedian Jeff Dunham's television specials and series have been the highest-rated programming in Comedy Central history, his DVD sales have reached 7 million units, his videos have received 500 million views on YouTube and his live concerts have become mega-events played in front of sold-out arenas worldwide. Time Magazine wrote that he is "the most popular comedian in the United States" and Forbes named him to its "Celebrity 100" list of most powerful entertainers three years running. Today, Dunham's global appeal is undeniable. He was named top-grossing live comedy act in the world in 2009 and 2010 by Pollstar. He has sold-out stadium-sized shows across three continents. In 2014, Jeff leant his voice to the feature film "Nut Job" alongside Liam Neeson and Brendan Fraser. Jeff and crew continue to pack arena-sized venues around the globe on his "Disorderly Conduct" live show.
