Pop Star Janelle Monáe To Perform on the IDOL Stage During Season's First Half-Hour LIVE Results Show Thursday, March 27, at 9:00 PM

MK Nobilette was eliminated tonight on AMERICAN IDOL XIII, after she received the fewest votes. From San Francisco, CA, the 20-year-old sang "Perfect" on last night's performance show. Plus, international superstar and AMERICAN IDOL XIII judge Jennifer Lopez brought down the house with a performance of her new single, "I Luh Ya Papi," and pop rock band Royal Teeth performed their breakout single, "Wild."

Next week, on Wednesday, March 26 (8:00-10:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed), the Top Nine - C.J. Harris, Jena Irene, Caleb Johnson, Jessica Meuse, Alex Preston, Dexter Roberts, Majesty Rose, Malaya Watson and Sam Woolf - will perform on the "(I'm With The) BAND!"- themed performance show. The IDOL hopefuls will act as the lead singer for Rickey Minor and his band, performing their favorite songs.

On the season's first half-hour live results show airing Thursday, March 27 (9:00-9:30 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed), tune in to find out who will be sent home. Plus, for the very first time, Grammy Award-nominated pop star Janelle Monáe will perform her new single, "What Is Love," from the album "Rio 2: Music from the Motion Picture," available Tuesday, March 25. The song is available now on iTunes.

Viewers at home continue to have five ways to vote for their favorite singer, including voting via Google Search when the IDOL vote window opens at the top of the show, by searching for IDOL-related terms. For the first time ever, fans will be able to vote immediately after their favorites perform. After casting their votes, fans will have the opportunity to share their votes on Google+, follow contestants, join community conversations or participate in Google Hangouts about the show. Viewers can also vote online at AmericanIdol.com; via the AMERICAN IDOL App; via text messaging; and via toll-free calling.
