Lifetime's Hit New Reality Series "Kim of Queens" Has Been Picked Up for a Second Season

Lifetime has picked up a second season of its docuseries, Kim of Queens, (currently airing Tuesday nights at 10pm). Kim of Queens' sassy star Kim Gravel, one of the country's most successful and outspoken pageant coaches, has been on a mission to find diamonds in the rough and help transform them into confident young women. In this season, Kim, along with the help of her mother Jo and sister Allisyn, are helping polish local girls into future leaders, preparing them to take the crown and rule the world. While applying her homegrown philosophy that beauty is only skin deep, Kim, with her larger-than-life personality that is peppered with tough love and plenty of humor, searched for young talent that many passed over on first glance. In the second season, we will follow Kim as she continues to mentor Addison and other favorites as the race for Miss Georgia is on. We will also learn more about Kim's sister Allisyn, meet some pageant poachers and watch Kim transform some of her most challenging clients yet. Second season is expected to premiere on Tuesday, June 17th, at 10:00pm ET/PT.

"Kim of Queens is yet another example of our success in providing viewers with a rare look into unique worlds that feature incomparable characters you can't find anywhere else," said Eli Lehrer, Senior Vice President, Non-Fiction Programming, of Lifetime. "We are very excited to bring Kim Gravel, her amazing persona and this great show back for a second season this summer."

Kim of Queens is produced by Relativity Television and Bogner Entertainment and executive produced by Tom Forman (Catfish, The American Bible Challenge), Brad Bishop (Catfish, Great Food Truck Race), Oliver Bogner (My Five Wives), Jonathan Bogner (My Five Wives) and Chris McKim (RuPaul's Drag Race), along with Lifetime's Eli Lehrer, Mary Donahue and Colleen Conway Grogan.

Kim of Queens is outperforming Lifetime's primetime average across all of the key demographics, including +9% in Total Viewers, +25% with Women 18-49, +16% among Adults 18-49 and Women 25-54, and +10% in Adults 25-54.

10 episodes ordered.
