SHAKIRA AND BLAKE SHELTON TO PERFORM TOGETHER ON THE "49TH ANNUAL ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC AWARDS," BROADCAST LIVE FROM THE MGM GRAND GARDEN ARENA IN LAS VEGAS SUNDAY, APRIL 6 ON THE CBS TELEVISION NETWORK

Multi-platinum singer/songwriter and global recording artist Shakira will perform her single "Medicine," featuring ACM co-host Blake Shelton, who is up for five nominations including Entertainer of the Year, on the 49th ANNUAL ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC AWARDS, to be broadcast from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Sunday, April 6 (8:00-11:00 PM, live ET/delayed PT) on the CBS Television Network.

Both of these artists join previously announced performers Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Eric Church, Brett Eldredge, Hunter Hayes, Miranda Lambert, Toby Keith, Justin Moore, Kip Moore, George Strait, Keith Urban, The Band Perry, Florida Georgia Line, and Lady Antebellum with legendary musician Stevie Nicks. Additional acts and presenters will be announced in the coming week.
