HAND OF GOD (Amazon; W: Ben Watkins; D: Marc Forster) - Elaine Tan is the latest addition to the drama pilot, about the powerful Judge Harris Pernell (Ron Perlman), a hard-living, law-bending married man with a high-end call girl on the side who has a religious awakening and starts having visions and hearing voices through his ventilator-bound son that could be God speaking to him. She's set as Anne, "an Ivy league educated assistant whose eagerness and drive turn into opportunism and betrayal." Andre Royo, Alona Tal, Dana Delany, Garret Dillahunt, Julian Morris and Maximiliano Hernández also star. (Deadline.com)
ONLY HUMAN (CBS/CTS; W: David Marshall Grant; D: TBA) - Mario Van Peebles has snagged a role on the drama pilot, about quadruplets - three brothers and a sister - who grew up on a reality show. He'll play Dr. James Potter, "who runs the hospital where the family works." Anna Brewster, Ashton Holmes, Cameron Scoggins, Jamie Lee Curtis and Nick Jandl also star. (Deadline.com)
SCORPION (CBS/CTS; W: Nick Santora; D: Justin Lin) - Ernie Hudson is bound for the drama pilot, about Walter O'Neil (Elyes Gabel), an eccentric genius and his international network of super-geniuses who form the last line of defense against the complex threats of the modern age. He'll play Brooks, "the head Air Traffic Controller at LAX who knows how to read a computer screen and assign planes to runways but knows less than nothing about how his computer system actually works." Ari Stidham, Eddie Kaye Thomas, Jadyn Wong, Katharine McPhee and Robert Patrick also star. (Deadline.com)
UNTITLED KZK PROJECT (Netflix/Sony; W: Todd A. Kessler, Daniel Zelman & Glenn Kessler; D: Johan Renck) - Mia Kirshner and Waleed Zuaiter are both bound for the upcoming drama, about a family of adult siblings (Kyle Chandler, Ben Mendelsohn, Linda Cardellini, Norbert Leo Butz) whose secrets and scars are revealed when their black sheep brother (Mendelsohn) returns home. Zuaiter will play Major Eckhardt, "a mysterious authority figure in the Florida Keys who is having an affair with Meg Rayburn (Cardellini)"; while Kirshner's role wasn't specified. Enrique Murciano, Katie Finneran, Sam Shepard, Jacinda Barrett, Jamie McShane and Sissy Spacek also star. (Deadline.com)
