Grand Prize Winner Will Take Home $10,000

Top Five Finalists Will Be Featured in Fitness Magazine

NEW YORK, NY - April 14, 2014 - This morning on "LIVE with Kelly and Michael," hosts Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan announced "LIVE's Top Fitness Instructor," the popular morning talk show's first-ever nationwide search for the best trainer in the business.

"LIVE" is looking for dedicated fitness professionals who develop incredible routines, instructors who motivate their clients to overcome obstacles and those with unique and empowering methods. Beginning this morning, "LIVE's" viewers can nominate themselves, or a trainer they know, by submitting entries on "LIVE's" website and Facebook page, or entering by mail. The deadline for entries is Friday, April 25, 2014.

"LIVE's" production team will narrow down the entry pool to five finalists who will travel to New York to appear on "LIVE" during the week of May 26-30 and demonstrate their routines with Ripa and Strahan. After the last finalist has been showcased on "LIVE," viewers will vote online for an overall winner.

Ripa and Strahan will announce the grand prize winner on "LIVE" on Monday, June 2, and that person will receive $10,000 in cash. Plus, each finalist also will take home a $2,000 cash prize, and will be featured in a future issue of Fitness Magazine.
