New TLC Spinoff Series "Return to Amish" Premieres on Sunday, June 1

NEW TLC SPINOFF SERIES "RETURN TO AMISH" PREMIERES ON SUNDAY, JUNE 1

--Two-hour premiere begins at 9/8c with a holiday reunion--

(New York, NY) - TLC's newest spinoff series RETURN TO AMISH, premiering on Sunday, June 1 at 9/8c, reunites viewers with the original group from BREAKING AMISH - the network's highest-rated freshman series ever. The two-hour premiere kicks off a seven-episode run that follows Abe, Rebecca, Sabrina, Jeremiah, and Kate as they continue to acclimate to their new lives while still applying certain Amish traditions to major life events. Mary, Katie Ann, and Andrew all return as well, while viewers are finally introduced to Chester (Mary's husband), Chapel (Andrew's girlfriend) and Kayla (Rebecca's daughter).

After leaving their sheltered Amish and Mennonite lives, these five young adults experienced New York City together for the first time, and then traveled to Sarasota, Fla in the series BREAKING AMISH: A BRAVE NEW WORLD. The entire group has now decided to return to Pennsylvania with the exception of Kate, who has chosen to stay in NYC. With two new babies on the way, the original group is growing fast. Abe and Rebecca prepare to welcome their baby into the family with both Amish and English traditions as they continue to adjust to married life. Viewers will also be a part of Sabrina's journey as she goes through the ups and downs of her pregnancy, with little to no support from her Mennonite family. Jeremiah's love life and current entrepreneurial pursuits are also highlighted throughout the series, as is Mary's ongoing struggles with being shunned by the community. And as Andrew is newly released from jail, he tries to start fresh with his on-again, off-again girlfriend Chapel, while simultaneously trying to mend his relationship with his family - a work in progress at best. Cameras also follow Kate as she officially becomes a New Yorker - living on her own, dating in the big city, and focusing on her budding modeling career.
