Symon Joins "Millionaire's" Week-Long Initiative to Raise Funds for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals

"Millionaire" Donates $10,000 to CMN Hospitals Each Time a Contestant Makes it to Round Two of the Game

NEW YORK, NY (May 2, 2014) - Tune-in to "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire" on Friday, May 9, 2014 for some unpredictable fun and countless laughs as Michael Symon, co-host of "The Chew," appears as a "Millionaire" contestant. Symon will play the game and donate his winnings to Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, an organization dedicated to helping as many children as possible by raising vital funds and awareness for children's hospitals across North America.

"I had a great time testing my brainpower on 'Millionaire,'" said Symon. "It's always a good day when you can raise money for a worthy organization!"

All week (May 5-9), "Millionaire" will donate $10,000 to CMN Hospitals each time a contestant makes it into the second round of the game (questions 11-14), also known as Classic Millionaire. Tune-in all week to see how much money "Millionaire" contestants can raise for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals and be sure to catch "The Chew's" Michael Symon take a shot at adding one million dollars to the pot on Friday, May 9!
