"WHERE THE WILD MEN ARE"
US PREMIERE ON FRIDAY, MAY 16 AT 10PM ET/PT ONLY ON SCIENCE CHANNEL
Join adventurer and world traveler Ben Fogle as he lives for a week in the most extreme situations with individuals who truly define 'going off the grid.'
In the premiere episode, we meet former businessman, Dave Glasheen who lost $10million in the stock market crash of 1987. With his last savings he bought the lease on part of Restoration Island where he's learned to live as a voluntary castaway. This real-life Robinson Crusoe and his dog Quasi inhabit the 100 acre volcanic island, a 40 minute boat-ride away from Lockhart River - the most remote indigenous Aboriginal population in Australia. Ben learns to oyster pick, brew beer, trade fish and dance with the locals in one of the world's last remaining genuine wilderness areas.
WHERE THE WILD MEN ARE premieres on Friday, May 16 at 10PM ET/PT on Science Channel.
