Production Also Commences on Second Season of Beat Bobby Flay With New Episodes to Premiere Late Summer

NEW YORK - May 28, 2014 - Grill master Bobby Flay returns to the backyard this summer, and this time he's going back to the essentials with new episodes of Barbecue Addiction: Bobby's Basics beginning Sunday, June 22nd at 11am ET/PT on Food Network. In the new season, Bobby simplifies outdoor cooking techniques and recipes for an easy guide to grilling that helps viewers create the perfect barbecue without breaking a sweat. Using his signature bold flavors and seasonal inspiration, Bobby's quintessential dishes showcase the best in outdoor barbecue.

Flay also returns to culinary competition this summer, as he begins production in June on returning hit primetime series Beat Bobby Flay. Season two is slated to air later this summer, with a brand-new roster of special guests and chef competitors battling for the opportunity to cook against culinary icon Flay. Beat Bobby Flay joined Food Network's lineup in March 2014.
