Cartoon Network Dishes Up More Drama!

"Total Drama Pahkitew Island" Premieres Monday, July 7 at 6 p.m. (ET, PT)

Tune In to the Two-Week Summer Showdown With a New Episode Every Week Night at 6 p.m. (ET, PT)

All-new island! All-new cast! Even more nail-biting drama! Total Drama Pahkitew Island promises to be the toughest season yet with spine-tingling twists, explosive challenges and bust-a-gut laughs. Fan favorite "host with the most" Chris has gone all out this season to put a fresh collection of contestants through the most grueling challenges yet! Be sure to watch the Total Drama Pahkitew Island one-hour premiere Monday, July 7 at 6 p.m. (ET, PT) and then watch the tension unravel for two weeks with a new episode each week night at 6 p.m. (ET, PT). In Total Drama tradition, fans will be able to vote for the winner on CartoonNetwork.com beginning Thursday, July 17 at 6:30 p.m. (ET, PT) and then can tune in to see the results in the most action packed one-hour season finale yet on Friday, July 18 at 6 p.m. (ET, PT).

In past seasons, the animated reality competition series Total Drama, produced by Fresh TV and distributed by Cake Entertainment, featured egotistical series host Chris McLean pestering contestants on a toxic waste dump, a voyage around the world and a movie set. Last season, Total Drama All-Stars ranked as the #1 program on Tuesdays on all television among boys 6-11 & 9-14. It also claimed #1 in its 7 p.m. time period among kids 9-14 and boys 6-11 & 9-14.

This season the drama is in high gear as contestants from every corner of the cafeteria smash, crash, and bash their way through the season with one goal in mind: winning that one million dollar prize! Who will take it home? Maybe Amy or Samey, the cheerleading twin sisters? Perhaps Rodney, the super strong farm boy? Could it be Sugar the beauty pageant queen wannabe? Leonard the LARPer? Or maybe it will be the very first Australian contestant, Jasmine! Then again it could be one of the other eight contenders! No one knows until the final episode drops and the pain finally stops, on Total Drama Pahkitew Island!

Cartoon Network (CartoonNetwork.com) is regularly the #1 U.S. television network in prime among boys 6-11 & 9-14. Currently seen in 97 million U.S. homes and 194 countries around the world, Cartoon Network is Turner Broadcasting System, Inc.'s ad-supported cable service now available in HD offering the best in original, acquired and classic entertainment for kids and families. In addition to Emmy-winning original programming and industry-leading digital apps and online games, Cartoon Network embraces key social issues affecting families with solution-oriented initiatives such as Stop Bullying: Speak Up and the Move It Movement.

Turner Broadcasting System, Inc., a Time Warner company, creates and programs branded news, entertainment, animation and young adult media environments on television and other platforms for consumers around the world.
