AQUARIUS (NBC; W: John McNamara; D: TBA) - Gethin Anthony, Grey Damon and Emma Dumont have all joined the David Duchovny-led limited series, about the hunt for Charles Manson and his brood. Anthony will plan the famed serial killer with Dumont as Emma Karn, the teenage daughter of a respected lawyer who goes missing; and Damon as Hodiak's (Duchovny) new partner, rebellious undercover cop Brian Shafe. SENSE8 (Netflix; W: J. Michael Straczynski; D: TBA) - Naveen Andrews, Daryl Hannah, Brian J. Smith, Tuppence Middleton, Aml Ameen, Freema Agyeman, Tena Desae, Doona Bae, Max Riemelt, Alfonso Herrera, Erendira Ibarra, Jamie Clayton, Miguel Silvestre and Terrence Mann have all landed the principal roles in the upcoming drama, which "follows eight characters around the world - Smith, Middleton, Ameen, Bae, Silvestri, Desae, Riemelt and Clayton - who, in the aftermath of a tragic death, find themselves linked to each other mentally and emotionally; They can not only see and talk to each other as though they were in the same place, they have access to each other's deepest secrets." Production will span nine locations on four continents: Chicago, San Francisco, London, Iceland, Seoul, Mumbai, Berlin, Mexico City and Nairobi. (Deadline.com)
WASTELAND (NBC, New!) - Mick Davis ("Eleventh Hour") is developing a limited series at the Peacock about "a hardened U.S. Marshal, who in the wake of a massive prison break, is charged with hunting down fugitives with supernatural powers, while unlocking the mystery of his past." Said effort, from Sony Pictures Television and FremantleMedia North America, was set up at TNT in 2011. Bob Cooper of Landscape Entertainment and Gina Matthews of Little Engine Productions are also on board to executive produce. (Deadline.com)
