NEW YORK, June 24, 2014 - New York City's own Kurt Metzger returns to Comedy Central with the debut of "Kurt Metzger: White Precious" on Friday, July 11 at 11:00 p.m. ET/PT. For eager fans that can't wait to catch Metzger's new material, the extended and uncensored version of the special will be available on July 7, four days ahead of the on-air premiere, on CC: Stand-Up Direct (cc.com/direct).

"Kurt Metzger: White Precious" is the first one-hour stand-up special from Metzger, a former minister/salesman/illustrator/repo man turned headlining comic and "Inside Amy Schumer" writer. His gritty yet charming humor has the live audience at the Gramercy Theatre laughing all the way to hell or the principal's office. From child beauty pageants to cyberbullying to the most repulsive sight one could see on the streets of New York, Metzger's hilarious point of view is sometimes controversial but always entertaining.

Leading up to the on-air premiere, Comedy Central Stand-Up will feature preview clips from the special, including a "Comedy Central Re-Animated" clip produced by CC:Studios, with animation by Titmouse. Metzger will also take part in a Reddit "Ask Me Anything" Q&A in the week leading up to the on-air premiere. Fans can follow him on Twitter at @KurtMetzger, and tweet using the hashtag #whiteprecious to join the social chatter around the special.

"Kurt Metzger: White Precious" will be available on July 12 on the Comedy Central App to fans that sign in via their cable or satellite provider. They will also have access to a treasure trove of additional content from the #1 brand in comedy. Available for pre-order now on Amazon Instant Video, on July 15 the extended and uncensored edition of "Kurt Metzger: White Precious" will be available on Amazon Instant Video, iTunes, Xbox Video, Sony Entertainment Network, and Vudu. The digital album will also be available on July 15 at major retailers including iTunes and Amazon MP3.

Metzger has had his own half-hour special for "Comedy Central Presents," was profiled on Comedy Central's Hot List hour special, and released a full hour CD on Comedy Central Records entitled "Kurt Metzger Talks to Young People About Sex." He also voiced the lead character Randall The Zombie on Comedy Central's animated series "Ugly Americans," and has appeared on "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon." Previously, he has written for "Chappelle's Show," various Comedy Central "Roasts" and several other Spike TV, IFC, and VH1 programs.
