New York, NY (June 25, 2014) - Time for all of the "Arianators" to celebrate! MTV is bringing back its legendary music series "TRL" with Ariana Grande for one day only to take over the iconic MTV Times Square studio for "Total Ariana Live" on Wednesday, July 2 AT 7pm ET/PT.. Hosted by MTV News' Sway Calloway, the 30-minute special will bring fans closer to Ariana than ever before where she will perform a stripped down version of her #1 hit "Problem," debut her new single, "Break Free," as well as make a surprise announcement. With Ariana Grande fans being encouraged to utilize the hashtag #TotalArianaLive all over the world, the special will premiere on MTV in the U.S. at 7:00pm ET/PT on Wednesday, July 2nd, with encore airings to run on MTV's international channels within 24 hours (check local listings). Following the U.S. broadcast, fans will also be able to watch the show on demand across MTV's platforms at totalarianalive.mtv.com.

Surrounded by a live studio audience, Ariana and Sway will discuss her highly-anticipated sophomore album and play fun music themed games that will put her musical skills and knowledge to the test. Additionally, it's no secret that Ariana is big hip-hop fan, so MTV will test both her song knowledge and vocal ability in a game called "Hip Hop Mix Up." Each round, she will spin two giant wheels: one with song title and one in vocal styles (like Country or Valley Girl) where will then have to sing the song in the chosen style.

It debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top 200, Billboard Digital Albums Chart, and iTunes Overall Albums Chart. Moreover, it yielded the game-changing pop smash "The Way" featuring Mac Miller.
