WE tv LAUNCHES "IN BETWEEN," AN INNOVATIVE NEW DIGITAL PROGRAMMING CONCEPT TO BRIDGE SEASONS OF ITS UNSCRIPTED ORIGINALS

First Web Series Launching on WEtv.com for "SWV Reunited" Follows the Journey of Coko, Taj and Lelee Between the First and Second Seasons of the Hit Series

NEW YORK, NY - July 2, 2014 - WE tv today unveiled plans for a new online-based series that will literally "bridge" the gap between seasons of the network's unscripted shows, beginning with SWV Reunited, which launched earlier this year and returns for a sophomore season on Thursday, August 14. Titled "In Between," the all-new web content covers the lives of Coko, Taj and Lelee of the 90s R&B group "SWV - Sisters With Voices" immediately following the conclusion of season one and brings viewers along for the ride to season two through videos, blogs, photos, behind-the-scenes footage, animated GIFs and Tapestries. Each of the six "In Between" episodes, available exclusively on WEtv.com, will roll out over consecutive Mondays beginning on July 7. An advance look at the first episode is available now at http://www.wetv.com/shows/swv-reunited/in-between

"In this age of fragmented viewing, we are constantly looking for innovative ways to keep viewers engaged longer and with more WE tv content," said Marc Juris, WE tv's president. "In Between not only bridges seasons but also seamlessly connects our linear and online audiences, giving them a platform to continue the conversation year round."

Viewers will learn about a Twitter feud between Coko and Lelee, the status of Coko's solo gospel album, Taj's health scare, and management issues that leave the future of the group hanging in the balance. Each week, the new online content is presented through a personal message by one of the group members who contextualizes the upcoming content, and then closes each piece by asking users to tweet their thoughts on the issue at hand by using specially designated hashtags. The final "In Between" episode will also feature a sneak peek of the series' season two premiere episode.

In its debut season, SWV Reunited averaged 1.2 million viewers. SWV Reunited tracks the dynamic and sometimes rocky relationship of Coko, Taj and Lelee as they seek to regain their standing on the top of the music charts in a new, dynamic world where listeners stream music - often for free - and tweet their every thought.

SWV Reunited and "In Between" are produced for WE tv by Entertainment One Television (eOne), executive produced by eOne's Tara Long & John Morayniss as well as Eric Hoberman and Howie Miller. Lauren Gellert and Kate Farrell serve as the executive producers for WE tv.
