ESPN2 Airing Two Golf Championship Events Next Week

Championship golf events from England and Oklahoma will air on ESPN2 and WatchESPN next week as top players compete in the Ricoh Women's British Open and the U.S. Senior Open.

Royal Birkdale Golf Club in Southport, England, will host the best women's golfers from around the world for the 39th Ricoh Women's British Open July 10-13. ESPN2 and WatchESPN will air three hours of live play in both of the championship's first two rounds as well as four hours of live play from both weekend rounds.

The first two rounds of play on Thursday and Friday, July 10-11, will air from 9 a.m. - noon ET while the third and final rounds on Saturday and Sunday, July 12-13, will air from 8 a.m. - noon, all on ESPN2 and WatchESPN. In addition to the daily live coverage, one hour of third-round highlights will air on ABC at 4 p.m. on Saturday.

Tom Rinaldi will anchor ESPN's coverage, joined for analysis by World Golf Hall of Famer Judy Rankin and two-time women's major winner Dottie Pepper. Two-time U.S. Open champion Andy North and Bill Kratzert will report from the course.

The 35th U.S. Senior Open Championship will test the world's best senior golfers at Oak Tree National in Edmond, Okla., a venue hosting the prestigious event for the first time. Play from the first two rounds will air live on ESPN2 and WatchESPN on Thursday and Friday, July 10-11, from 4-8 p.m. each day. Sean McDonough and two-time U.S. Open champion Curtis Strange will call the play.

All Women's British Open and U.S. Senior Open programming on ESPN and ESPN2 is also available via WatchESPN on computers, smartphones, tablets, Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, Chromecast (via the WatchESPN app), Roku, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. It is currently accessible in more than 67.5 million households nationwide to fans who receive ESPN's linear networks as part of their video subscription from AT&T U-verse(R) TV, Bright House Networks, Cablevision's Optimum TV, Charter, Comcast Xfinity TV, Cox, DISH, Google Fiber, Midcontinent Communications, NRTC, Time Warner Cable or Verizon FiOS TV.
