Longhorn Network Set to Air Iowa State at Texas Football Game

Longhorn Network, the 24-hour network devoted to The University of Texas, will air the Iowa State at Texas football game on Saturday, Oct. 18 at 7 p.m. CT. It was previously announced that LHN will carry the Texas opener and Coach Charlie Strong debut, North Texas at Texas, on Saturday, Aug. 30 at 7 p.m.

The game on October 18 will also be made available via Cyclones.tv on Mediacom systems across the state of Iowa. Non-Mediacom subscribers, within the state of Iowa, can access the game by subscribing to an online Cyclones.tv subscription.

LHN's Kevin Dunn will provide play-by-play for the game alongside analyst Ahmad Brooks. Brooks was a defensive football captain at Texas and has been an analyst at the network since it launched. Dunn is also a Texas graduate and has provided play-by-play on a variety of sports, including baseball since launch. This will mark the first Big 12 conference game the duo will call together.

The game will mark the tenth Texas football game to air on LHN. It will be surrounded by exclusive Longhorn Network programming, including Texas GameDay, the live pre-game show from Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium with LHN host Lowell Galindo and Longhorn legend Ricky Williams both returning for the 2014 season. The expert desk will also provide half-time analysis and discuss the final results immediately following the game on Texas GameDay Final powered by Chevy Silverado.
