HBO has confirmed the debut date of FOO FIGHTERS: SONIC HIGHWAYS, with the series to launch its eight-episode season FRIDAY, OCT. 17 (11:00 p.m.-midnight ET/PT), followed by other episodes debuting subsequent Fridays at the same time.
Directed by Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl, each one-hour episode of the unprecedented documentary series is devoted to a different American musical landmark, chronicling the history, cultural environment and people defining that city's unique musical identity.
