ELECTUS INTERNATIONAL OPTIONS "FOOD FIGHTERS" IN GERMANY, SWEDEN AND THE MIDDLE EAST

(Los Angeles, CA) - August 11, 2014 -- Multimedia entertainment studio Electus, an operating business of IAC (NASDAQ: IACI), today announced it has optioned the format of Adam Richman's newest culinary battle Food Fighters in Germany (Endemol), Sweden (Nice) and the Middle East (Creative Ventures).

Endemol had previously optioned the show through Electus International in four other countries (France, Italy, Spain and Portugal). In Russia, original episodes of Food Fighters is currently airing on CTC and talks are underway for a second season.

Currently airing on NBC, Food Fighters is dominating competition drawing the largest regularly scheduled week one to week two ratings gain for any broadcast in two years. The second episode of the food competition hosted by Adam Richman was up 30% in key demos from its premiere, winning its 8pm time slot.

"This one of a kind culinary game show has really grabbed the attention of viewers and buyers alike," says John Pollak, President of Electus International. Food Fighters is the ultimate culinary clash, giving amateur cooks the chance to test their skills against professional chefs. Hosted by Man v. Food's Adam Richman, amateur cooks go head-to-head against five professional chefs who try to cook each contestant's best "family recipe" better than the contestant does. The dishes are tasted and judged by "the dinner party," a group of everyday food enthusiasts who taste both creations in a blind taste test. As the contestants advance, the cash prize grows, as does the incentive to out-cook the professional.
