NBC SPORTS GROUP PRESENTS MORE THAN SEVEN HOURS OF 2014 P&G GYMNASTICS CHAMPIONSHIPS

Coverage Begins Friday on NBCSN at 7 p.m. ET

Live Primetime Coverage Saturday on NBC at 8 p.m. ET

STAMFORD, Conn. - August 21, 2014 - NBC Sports Group will present more than seven hours of coverage of the 2014 P&G Gymnastics Championships this week from CONSOL Energy Center in Pittsburgh, Pa. Coverage begins tomorrow night at 7 p.m. ET on NBCSN and continues through the weekend on NBC, including live primetime coverage of the women's all-around final on Saturday at 8 p.m. ET.

The P&G Gymnastics Championships determine the U.S. champions and the U.S. national team. Headliners in the women's field include 2013 world all-around and floor exercise champion and reigning U.S. all-around champion Simone Biles of Spring, Texas, and 2012 Olympic team gold medalist and three-time world silver medalist Kyla Ross of Aliso Viejo, Calif.

The men's competition will feature defending U.S. all-around champion and 2012 Olympian Sam Mikulak of Newport Coast, Calif., 2012 Olympic all-around bronze medalist Danell Leyva of Miami, Fla., and 2008 Olympic horizontal bar silver medalist and team bronze medalist Jonathan Horton of Houston, Texas.

COMMENTATORS: NBC Sports Group's gymnastics team of Al Trautwig, Tim Daggett, Nastia Liukin and Andrea Joyce will host coverage from CONSOL Energy Center in Pittsburgh, Pa.

Coverage of the 2014 P&G Gymnastics Championships will be streamed on NBC Sports Live Extra, NBC Sports Group's live streaming product for desktops, mobile devices and tablets.
