(Silver Spring, MD) - Back for its sophomore season, American Heroes Channel (AHC)'s series AMERICA: FACTS VS. FICTION embarks on all-new adventures exploring the truths and hidden secrets of the nation's past. Hosted by former Naval officer and actor/comedian, Jamie Kaler, the series uncovers surprising and unknown details of American history to draw a line in the sand separating fact and fiction. Discover the truths behind the baffling disappearances in the Bermuda Triangle, find out what pirates really did with their treasure instead of burying it, and learn the shocking realities about prohibition beyond the seemingly lively roaring twenties. Season two of AMERICA: FACTS VS. FICTION premieres with back-to-back episodes on Tuesday, October 7 at 10 and 10:30 PM ET, and will premiere regularly on Tuesdays at 10 PM ET beginning Tuesday, October 14 on AHC.

Season two kicks off with the premiere of "Fool's Gold" on Tuesday, October 7 at 10 PM ET. In this episode, Kaler reveals the shocking truth about America's biggest boom and biggest bust. The series digs into the startling facts about how one treasure was discovered during the California gold rush and - another lost with the Stock Market Crash of 1929. Then at 10:30PM ET, the true stories of the Alamo and Custer's Last Stand are very different from the way we remember them. Find out how Davy Crockett really died, and why General Custer might have been court-martialed if he hadn't attacked the Indians that outnumbered him.

Additional premieres include:

Lost at Sea Premieres Tuesday, October 14 at 10 PM ET Myths cloud the real facts of history on the high seas. Find out what pirates really did with their treasure instead of burying it and discover the truth behind the seemingly baffling disappearances in the Bermuda Triangle.

Booze and Bullets Premieres Tuesday, October 21 at 10 PM ET Our memories of the roaring twenties and lawless thirties are more myth than truth. Learn the shocking realities about the prohibition and the gallery of gangsters including the notorious couple Bonnie and Clyde.

Patton and Grant Premieres Tuesday, October 28 at 10 PM ET The truth about America's greatest generals is obscured by myth. Find out what George Patton's nickname "Blood and Guts" really means and learn that Ulysses S. Grant's reputation as a drunk and a butcher is undeserved.

For American Heroes Channel, Liz Massie is executive producer, Sara Kozak is senior vice president of production, Kevin Bennett is general manager, and Henry Schleiff is Group President of Investigation Discovery, Destination America, American Heroes Channel, and Discovery Fit & Health.
