VH1 GREENLIGHTS "T.I & TINY: THE FAMILY HUSTLE" SPINOFF "TINY & SHEKINAH'S WEAVE TRIP"
New Series Premieres Monday, October 13th at 9:30PM ET/PT?
NEW YORK, NY - September 16, 2014 - With the success of VH1's hit show "T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle," it is no surprise that T.I's better half, Tameka "Tiny" Harris and her outrageous, laugh-out-loud funny best friend and hair stylist Shekinah Jo are getting their own spinoff. VH1 has given the greenlight to "Tiny & Shekinah's Weave Trip," an eight-episode, half hour weekly series that will follow the ladies on a hilarious cross country road trip promoting their new mobile hair salon business. "Tiny & Shekinah's Weave Trip" premieres on VH1 on Monday, October 13th at 9:30PM ET/PT.
With a true passion for flawless hair that just couldn't be restricted to the Atlanta city limits, these ladies are taking their talents and philosophy that "everyone deserves fabulous hair" on the road. From The Voodoo Shop in New Orleans to the Navajo Nation in Arizona, no place is safe when Tiny and Shekinah hit the road. The dynamic duo is ready to leave their comfort zone and experience new cultures, all while being out of their element, starting their new business venture and adjusting to life on the road. Along the way expect an adventure no one will ever forget, a good dose of laughs, some mishaps, a bit of drama and a healthy amount of shenanigans as the ladies work to get their mobile salon off the ground.
Tune in to VH1 for the series premiere of "Tiny & Shekinah's Weave Trip" Monday, October 13th at 9:30PM ET/PT.
"Tiny & Shekinah's Weave Trip" is created and executive produced by 51 Minds' Christian Sarabia as well as WikkedCat Production's Brian Sher and Stella Bulochnikov. For VH1, the series is executive produced by Susan Levison, Jill Holmes and Kristen Kelly.
