No. 1 Minnesota Hosts No. 14 Notre Dame to Begin ESPNU's College Hockey Television Slate
ESPNU will begin its 2014-15 NCAA Division I Men's Hockey television schedule when No. 14 Notre Dame (5-2-1) visits No. 1 Minnesota (5-1) as part of the Big Ten/Hockey East Challenge on Sunday, Nov. 9, at 5 p.m. ET.

No. 1 Minnesota Hosts No. 14 Notre Dame to Begin ESPNU's College Hockey Television Slate

ESPNU will begin its 2014-15 NCAA Division I Men's Hockey television schedule when No. 14 Notre Dame (5-2-1) visits No. 1 Minnesota (5-1) as part of the Big Ten/Hockey East Challenge on Sunday, Nov. 9, at 5 p.m. ET. John Buccigross and Barry Melrose will call the game from Mariucci Arena on the campus of the University of Minnesota.

Sunday's game is the first of a seven-game regular season slate which will feature a majority of Big Ten teams, including No. 1 Minnesota three additional times, and Michigan State, Ohio State, Penn State and Wisconsin. Quinnipiac at Princeton, an ECAC matchup, will also be televised. It is the second consecutive season ESPNU will televise a series of regular season games.

In addition to Melrose, Sean Ritchlin and Blake Geoffrion will serve as game analysts.

NCAA Men's Division I Men's Ice Hockey Championship

ESPN will once again be the exclusive home of the NCAA Division I Men's Hockey Championship, which begins with the NCAA Regionals (March 27-29) and concludes with the Frozen Four (April 9 & 11) in Boston, Ma. ESPN has televised every Frozen Four Championship Game since 1980 and televised the entire Frozen Four, live, since 1995. This season's NCAA Men's Ice Hockey Championship will be the 11th year ESPN has covered the entire tournament live.
