Social: With Over 5.3M Tweets, ABC is the Most-Social Broadcast Net in Prime this Season
Through the first 6 weeks of the 2014-15 season, ABC has generated more than 5.3 million tweets in primetime (an increase of +68% year to year), making it the most-social broadcast network (based on regular, non-sports programming). ABC (5.3 million) outdelivers the combined totals of NBC (2.0 million), CBS (1.0 million) and Fox (1.0 million).
ABC's Scandal is the season's most-social broadcast series, with an average of 346,609 tweets per episode. Along with Scandal, ABC claims 6 of the Top 10 most-social broadcast series: Scandal - #1, How to Get Away with Murder - #2, Once Upon a Time - #4, Grey's Anatomy - #5 and Dancing with the Stars - #6.
ABC's HTGAWM is the season's most-social broadcast drama and new show overall, with an average of 142,406 tweets per episode, while black-ish is the #1 comedy, with 29,169 tweets/episode.
