Hulu Original "The Wrong Mans" to Return for A Thrilling Second Season on Dec. 24th

November 12, 2014 - The Hulu and BBC Comedy's critically acclaimed co-production The Wrong Mans will return to Hulu for a second season just in time for the holidays with four all-new episodes on December 24th. Series co-creator, writer and star Tony Award-winner James Corden (Into the Woods, One Man Two Guvnors, Gavin And Stacey, The History Boys) and co-creator, writer and star British Comedy Award-winner Mathew Baynton (Peep Show, Gavin and Stacey), are set to return with Golden Globe nominee Jim Field Smith (Episodes, She's Out Of My League) as the producer and director. Viewers will want to tune in this holiday season for an exhilarating continuation of The Wrong Mans with epic cliffhangers and smart, sidesplitting laughs. Distributed by BBC Worldwide.

Season one of The Wrong Mans introduced audiences to office workers Phil Bourne (Corden) and Sam Pinkett (Baynton), whose hum-drum existence was turned upside-down by a case of mistaken identity.

The Wrong Mans season two will continue where season one left off: with more thrills, explosions and action-packed plot twists, all packaged with a holiday bow on top. Presumed dead, Phil Bourne and Sam Pinkett set off on an international quest, making their way through unforeseen danger in order to get home for the holidays. The hapless friends find themselves in deeper than ever before and have to prove - once again - that they are The Wrong Mans. Their globetrotting adventures will take them across deserts, through tunnels, inside prisons, on planes and trains, as they duck knives, dodge bullets and deal with WMDs.

"This show does not disappoint in delivering the action and the laughs. Our audience immediately fell in love with these two, hilarious characters in their first season and we're thrilled to bring their new adventures to Hulu viewers," said Beatrice Springborn, Hulu's Head of Originals.

The Wrong Mans season two features a stellar international supporting cast that includes Anastasia Griffith (Damages), Raoul Trujillo (Apocalypto), John Ross Bowie (Big Bang Theory, Curb Your Enthusiasm), Bertie Carvel (Matilda, Doctor Who, Sherlock) and Ray Panthaki (EastEnders, 28 Days Later). Other guest stars include Samantha Spiro (Bad Education, Grandma's House) and Trevor Cooper (Happy Go Lucky).

Returning to The Wrong Mans are Dawn French (The Vicar Of Dibley, French & Saunders) as Phil's fragile mum Linda Bourne, and Rebecca Front (The Thick Of It, Grandma's House) as Cox, the unrepentant head of MI5. Sarah Solemani (Him & Her, Bad Education) reprises the role of Lizzie Green, Sam's ex-girlfriend and former boss who is on the hunt for the truth. Other returning cast members include co-writer Tom Basden (W1A, Plebs) as Sam's former colleague Noel and Alec Utgoff (Jack Ryan) as a strangely familiar Russian agent.
