BENGALS-STEELERS TO BE NBC "SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL" GAME ON DECEMBER 28

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
The Week 17 Cincinnati Bengals at Pittsburgh Steelers game on Sunday, December 28 will be played at 8:30 PM ET on NBC, the NFL announced tonight. The final Week 17 NFL schedule will be announced following the Denver Broncos at Cincinnati Bengals game tomorrow night.
The NFL uses "flexible scheduling" to ensure quality matchups in all NFL Sunday time slots and to give teams a chance to play their way onto primetime and into the late-afternoon 4:25 PM ET time slot on CBS or FOX.
For the first time this season, a select number of games are being "cross-flexed," moving between CBS and FOX to bring potentially under-distributed games to wider audiences.
