BRADLEY WHITFORD TO GUEST-STAR ON "BROOKLYN NINE-NINE"

Emmy Award-winning actor Bradley Whitford ("Transparent," "Trophy Wife") brings some daddy issues to the Nine-Nine as he is set to guest-star as Jake Peralta's (Andy Samberg) father. Captain Roger Peralta, a regional airline pilot, is a charming guy with a history of letting Jake down. But Jake is hoping that will all change when he comes to town for a father-son weekend in Brooklyn. Whitford will first be seen in the episode airing Sunday, March 8 (8:30-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

Whitford has received critical acclaim for his roles in theater, film and television, and quickly gained overnight fame as "Josh Lyman" on "The West Wing," which earned him a 2001 Emmy Award, as well as Golden Globe Award nominations in 2001 and 2002. Whitford will next be seen in the new comedy "Happyish," starring opposite Steve Coogan and Kathryn Hahn, set for release in April 2015. He also recurs opposite Jeffrey Tambor on the award-winning comedy series "Transparent," which won the 2015 Golden Globe for "Best TV Series - Musical or Comedy." Whitford also starred in "Trophy Wife," and additional television credits include "The Good Guys," "Studio 60 From The Sunset Strip," "ER," "The X-Files" and "NYPD Blue." In film, Whitford recently wrapped production on the Hank Williams biopic "I Saw the Light." His other film credits include "Saving Mr. Banks," "The Cabin in the Woods," "An American Crime," "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants," "Kate and Leopold," "The Muse," "Bicentennial Man," "Scent of a Woman," "Philadelphia," "The Client" and "My Fellow Americans."

Eva Longoria returns in the All-New Episode of BROOKLYN NINE-NINE Sunday, Jan. 25 at 8:30/7:30c on FOX.
