USA NETWORK TAKES VIEWERS BEHIND-THE-SCENES OF THE UPCOMING EVENT SERIES "DIG" IN AN ORIGINAL HALF-HOUR "MAKING-OF" SPECIAL ON MONDAY, FEBRUARY 23

Golden Globe Nominee Jason Isaacs ("Awake") and Emmy Winner Anne Heche ("Save Me"), Join Executive Producers, Tim Kring ("Heroes") and Gideon Raff ("Homeland"), to Give Fans Exclusive Access and Insight in THE MAKING OF DIG

UNIVERSAL CITY, CA -- January 30, 2015 -- On Monday, February 23 (11/10c), USA Network will take viewers on location and behind-the-scenes of the upcoming event series DIG, with an original half-hour special, THE MAKING OF DIG, to air Monday, February 23. The special will delve into the mysteries and conspiracies of the 10-episode thriller and provide exclusive access to the sets of this international production, which spans Israel, Croatia, Canada and New Mexico. Along with never-before-seen footage, THE MAKING OF DIG also features in-depth interviews with series stars Golden Globe nominee Jason Isaacs ("Awake") and Emmy winner Anne Heche ("Save Me"), as well as executive producers Tim Kring ("Heroes") and Gideon Raff ("Homeland"). THE MAKING OF DIG will have a pre-linear premiere on Sunday, February 1, available on VOD and TV Everywhere Platforms. DIG, will debut on USA Thursday, March 5 10/9c.

The special will also include interviews with pilot director SJ Clarkson ("Dexter") and series stars Emmy Award nominee Lauren Ambrose ("Six Feet Under"), Golden Globe Award winner Regina Taylor ("The Unit"), Alison Sudol ("Transparent"), David Costabile ("Breaking Bad"), Tony Award nominee Omar Metwally ("Non-Stop"), Screen Actors Guild Award winner Richard E. Grant ("Downton Abbey") and Ori Pfeffer ("World War Z").

DIG centers around FBI agent Peter Connelly (Isaacs) who, while investigating a murder, uncovers a conspiracy 2,000 years in-the-making.

THE MAKING OF DIG is directed and executive produced by Andy Meyers of M3 Creative.

Created and executive produced by Kring and Raff, DIG is from Universal Cable Productions (UCP) and was developed by Keshet, in association with Gail Berman ("Buffy the Vampire Slayer") of The Jackal Group and Gene Stein ("Deception"). Keshet's Avi Nir ("Homeland"), Alon Shtruzman and Karni Ziv also serve as executive producers. The event series will premiere on USA Network.
