LIES, SPIES AND MASTERS OF DISGUISE: AMERICAN HEROES CHANNEL'S "CODES AND CONSPIRACIES" RETURNS FOR SECOND SEASON

This Presidents' Day, as America celebrates our nations' great leaders, American Heroes Channel (AHC) digs deep into the real history behind our founding fathers in the season two premiere of CODES AND CONSPIRACIES. Exploring the unknown, hidden stories behind America's most iconic places, groundbreaking inventions, and influential people, CODES AND CONSPIRACIES uncovers the mysterious side of the United States. From secret societies to scandalous sex rings and double agendas, each episode unveils the startling truth that has been obscured by history. Back for an exciting second season, CODES AND CONSPIRACIES kicks off on Monday, February 16 at 10/9c on AHC.

In the premiere episode "Founding Fathers," CODES AND CONSPIRACIES questions the real story behind the deepest secrets of our founding fathers. Which American founder, famous for his honesty, was actually a master of deceit? Did another actually use sex as an instrument of diplomacy? Why did American historians work for 150 years to obscure the truth about the love life of one of our great presidents? Was that same president a heretic who scoffed at Christianity? And which founder engaged in the greatest cover-up in all of American history?

Additional premieres in season two include:

American Nazis Premieres Monday, February 23 at 10/9c From the rallies held at Madison Square Garden, to the plots to steal the secrets to the nation's weapons of war, the American Nazis terrorized the United States in the 1930s and waged a battle against the FBI and an undercover team of amateur spies.

Ancient Astronauts Premieres Monday, March 2 at 10/9c Did aliens help build the Pyramids and other monuments? Or does the "ancient astronauts" idea go back to Swiss author Erich von Daniken, whose books challenge religion and science? Who were his enemies? What were his influences? Why was he jailed?

Las Vegas Premieres Monday, March 9 at 10/9c Las Vegas - the original mecca for legalized gambling - was a magnet for mobsters back in the day, while today, casinos are riddled with money-making schemes to suck in honest gamblers. But Sin City has other strange incidents in its past, including atomic bombs that blew up nearby, a foiled Nazi plot, and a meeting place for the 9/11 terrorists. Las Vegas, it seems, likes to keep its secrets.

Deadly Cults Premieres Monday, March 16 at 10/9c Discover some of America's most infamous cults. Whether its religious fire-and -brimstone, Armageddon, or visitors from outer space, the U.S. has no shortage of like-minded people coming together to get swept up in the fervor.

Experimental Soldiers Premieres Monday, March 23 at 10/9c At the height of the Cold War, the United States searched for a way to create a generation of "Supersoldiers" who would use telepathy to win battles. In the 1950s, gangster Whitey Bulger volunteers for the CIA's LSD project known as MK-Ultra.
