MISSY HALPERIN PROMOTED TO
EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT, TALENT RELATIONS
FOR FOX BROADCASTING COMPANY
Missy Halperin has been promoted to Executive Vice President, Talent Relations, for Fox Broadcasting Company, it was announced today by Joe Earley, Chief Operating Officer, Fox Television Group. In this role, Ms. Halperin will continue to liaise with the network's talent, as well as oversee the integration of talent into marketing campaigns, cross-network programming, charitable events and corporate initiatives.
"One of our top priorities is to ensure that FOX is the very best home for talent, and Missy truly excels in that endeavor," said Earley. "An unparalleled resource and partner to the incredible actors and producers who are part of the FOX family, our Talent Relations department also plays a vital role in our strategic marketing and programming efforts."
Ms. Halperin began her career at HBO, but has been with FOX since shortly after its inception. Joining the network in 1989, under then-chairman Barry Diller, Ms. Halperin rose through the ranks to become the network's senior-most talent relations executive, working with the casts of early FOX hits, such as "21 Jump Street," "Married... With Children" and "Beverly Hills, 90210," as well as those of current favorites, including EMPIRE, GOTHAM, BROOKLYN NINE-NINE, AMERICAN IDOL and GLEE.
A native of Los Angeles, Ms. Halperin earned her bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles. She lives in Studio City with her husband and three children.
