GSN'S ORIGINAL GAME SHOW "IDIOTEST" HOSTED BY BEN GLEIB RETURNS FOR SEASON 2 ON WEDNESDAY, APRIL 1

Season Premiere to Feature April Fool's-Related Stunts

February 18, 2015 (Santa Monica, CA) - GSN, the leader in game shows and competitive entertainment, announced today the second season premiere of their new hit game show, IDIOTEST on Wednesday, April 1 at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT.

Comedian Ben Gleib ("Chelsea Lately") returns as the wildly witty host dishing out even tougher brainteasers to contestants competing for a $10,000 cash prize. Gleib will also play an integral role in the season two premiere which will feature some April Fool's-related stunts being kept under wraps. The remainder of the season will feature new types of tests and rivalries, as well as a variety of themes amongst the competitors.

IDIOTEST, based on the highly popular app game, gives two pairs of contestants the opportunity to face off in several rounds of visual brain teasers that look deceptively simple, but whose answers actually require a keen eye, quick mind and heightened sense of logic. Every question involves a colorful and often whimsical scene that tests observation and attention to detail as much it tests general knowledge. Contestants play the game on giant touch screens in the center of the set, trying to win money...or at least not look stupid.

Over 21 million have watched IDIOTEST to date, making it one of GSN's most popular originals. The first season nearly doubled the audience among W18-49 (+84%) and P18-49 (+92%) vs the YTD time period average.

IDIOTEST is produced by Little Wooden Boat Productions, Inc. Executive producers are Mark Cronin of Little Wooden Boat Productions, Adam Rosenblatt, Jamie Rosenblatt and Christian Horner of H2R Productions; Ryan Devlin and Shawn Greenson of He Shoots, He Scores Productions, and Larry Barron and Ryan Curtis. Ben Gleib serves as a producer on the series. Follow the show online at Twitter: @Idiotestshow, Instagram: @Idiotestshow and Facebook: Idiotestshow .
