Breaking News: Supergirl Casts its Cat Grant
The cast of Supergirl continues to grow. So far we have a couple of cool Kryptonians, an intrepid young photographer... and now, a Cat.
As in Cat Grant.
Yes, it was announced today that Calista Flockhart (Ally McBeal) will be joining Supergirl as Cat Grant, who is described as a self-made media magnate and the founder of CatCo. On the show, Cat Grant started her career as a reporter and has built her company into a global powerhouse. Kara (series star Melissa Benoist) works at CatCo as her assistant.
Calista joins already announced cast members Benoist, Mehcad Brooks (Jimmy Olsen) and Laura Benanti (Alura Zor-El).
