AMC FANS GET NOSTALGIC WITH THE LAUNCH OF THE MAD MEN "CAROUSEL" FACEBOOK APP

THE FINAL EPISODES OF MAD MEN PREMIERE SUNDAY, APRIL 5 AT 10PM ET/PT

In anticipation of the final seven episodes of AMC's iconic series Mad Men, which will debut on Sunday, April 5 at 10pm ET/PT, AMC has launched the Mad Men Carousel Facebook App. Using the foundation of Don's monologue from the Carousel pitch in Season 1, the app gives fans an opportunity to incorporate their own emotionally meaningful photos in the Carousel scene. Drawing upon the idea of "Nostalgia," the Mad Men Carousel App taps into the deep sentimental feelings that fans have for the early days of Mad Men and also allows them a very personal way to connect with the series.

The app naturally selects photos from older albums to emphasize the nostalgic nature of the Carousel. The app also slightly saturates and blurs your images to give them a slide quality and really make them feel like they are a part of the scene. The randomness of the photos chosen also allows you to revisit some of your own memories.
