HALLMARK CHANNEL ANNOUNCES TERI POLO TO STAR IN "LAST RESORT" (WT) A HALLMARK CHANNEL ORIGINAL MOVIE WORLD PREMIERE JUNE 2015

Hallmark Channel announces Teri Polo ("The Fosters," "The Christmas Shepherd") has been cast in "Last Resort," (wt) a Hallmark Channel Original Movie World Premiere June 2015, part of the network's June Wedding Month. Polo stars alongside Paul Johansson ("One Tree Hill," "Alpha Dog") as a couple on the brink of a divorce when they must work together on planning and preparing their daughter's marriage. While they don't want to disrupt their daughter's happiness by announcing their divorce, they must learn to work together to keep the wedding going, and soon discover their marriage just might be worth saving.

"Beginning with 'Straight from the Heart' and 'A Taste of Romance' to 'The Christmas Shepherd,' Teri Polo has starred in some of the network's most successful original movies ever and her extraordinary talent brings so much heart to this emotional portrayal of life, love and marriage," said Michelle Vicary, Executive Vice President, Programming and Publicity, Crown Media Family Networks.

Teri Polo is best known for her role as Robert De Niro's daughter, Pam Byrnes, in the "Meet the Parents" feature films. She recently starred in "The Little Fockers," the third installment of the movie franchise and completed production on the feature "Beyond" opposite Jon Voight. Television audiences may remember her as Michelle Capra, the doctor's wife who was determined to master the strange surroundings (and even stranger characters) in "Northern Exposure." She also starred in the comedy series "I'm with Her" as well as David E. Kelley's "The Wedding Bells." Other television credits include the original film "Second String" opposite Jon Voight and the Hallmark Channel Original Movie's "Straight from the Heart," "Love Is a Four-Letter Word," "A Taste of Romance," "The Christmas Heart" and "The Christmas Shepherd." She was nominated for an Emmy(R) Award for her role opposite Jimmy Smits on "The West Wing." Polo is currently the series lead on ABC Family's hit show "The Fosters."

"Last Resort" is a Resort Road Production and a Front Street Pictures production. Executive Producers are Gerald W. Abrams and Allen Lewis. Harvey Kahn is Producer. Michael M. Scott directs from a script by Tracy Rosen.
