GSN'S NEW ORIGINAL GAME SHOW SERIES "LIE DETECTORS" HOSTED BY ROVE MCMANUS, TO AIR WEEKDAYS AT 6:30PM ET BEGINNING MONDAY, APRIL 20

March 19, 2015, SANTA MONICA, Calif. - Game Show Network, the leader in game shows and competitive entertainment, announced today its new original game show series, LIE DETECTORS, hosted by Australian TV talk show icon Rove McManus ("Rove Live") will air weekdays at 6:30pm ET (3:30pm PT), beginning Monday, April 20. The premiere episode will also feature guest comedians Michelle Buteau, Christian Finnegan and Sherrod Small.

LIE DETECTORS is a quick-witted comedy panel game show that invites the studio audience to play along by separating incredible truths from bold-faced lies. In each episode, three comedians try to stump the audience by presenting a mix of outrageous facts and more outrageous lies, gathered from the farthest corners of the pop culture universe. Which celebrity tweet, obscure smart phone app, or late-night infomercial product is real or phony? The audience member who gets the most correct answers in the fastest time will win a prize and come forward to face off against the comedians in a final round for even more cash.

Rove McManus, who will host the show, is widely acknowledged as Australia's most successful talk show host and one of its biggest producers of entertainment television, having hosted the top-rated live talk/comedy show "Rove Live," where he interviewed the biggest names in showbiz. He was introduced to American audiences first as a regular guest on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno, and later hosted a weekly talk show, ROVE LA, for TV Guide Network. He also continues to appear regularly on Comedy Central's @Midnight.

LIE DETECTORS is produced by Jim Co. and is based on an original idea by Tim Fornara of Kobiyoshi. Executive producers include Jim Biederman, Marla Ratner and Tim Fornara.
