BET Networks and Dr. Bobby Jones Celebrate the 35th and Final Season of "BOBBY JONES GOSPEL" This Upcoming Season
NEW YORK -- After 35 years, Dr. Bobby Jones has decided to end his long running weekly program, "BOBBY JONES GOSPEL." At BET's UPFRONT presentation, BET Networks announced that it will tape the 35th and final season of "BOBBY JONES GOSPEL," cable television's longest running original series. With todays biggest Gospel artists having their first television performance on "BOBBY JONES GOSPEL," Kirk Franklin and Yolanda Adams celebrated Dr. Bobby Jones' groundbreaking work with a soul stirring performance in tribute to Dr. Jones phenomenal work on BET Networks throughout the years.
For the past 35 years, Dr. Bobby Jones and BET welcomed gospel music's biggest stars including Shirley Caeser, Vicky Winans, Dottie Peoples, Byron Cage, Mary Mary, Hezekiah Walker, Donnie McClurkin and many more, each and every Sunday and the upcoming season of "BOBBY JONES GOSPEL," promises to be the biggest season yet!
