UNDERGROUND COOKING COMPETITION "KNIFE FIGHT" RETURNS MAY 26 ON ESQUIRE NETWORK
LOS ANGELES - April 28, 2015 - Stakes for bragging rights have never been higher. Esquire Network's raucous after-hours cooking competition series KNIFE FIGHT gets shaken up in a new tournament that will crown one ultimate champion of season three, premiering Tuesday, May 26 at 10/9c.
In each episode, two chefs go head-to-head, making at least two dishes in one hour from a combination of secret ingredients. 16 New York area chefs will compete to conquer mystery ingredients and each other, but only one will be left standing.
Week after week, each bout is 'do or die' as chefs will either advance to the next round or be eliminated from competition. The chefs that move on will face harder ingredients and even tougher opponents as each week the battles whittle the competition down to two challengers who go head to head in a one-hour grand finale fight for glory. Ilan's newest outpost The Gorbals Brooklyn serves as the venue, and Judges Naomi Pomeroy and Kris Morningstar join him as they determine New York's "Beast of the East."
Award-winning chefs battling include: Einat Admony, Miguel Aguilar, Wolfgang Ban, Franklin Becker, Joey Campanaro, Vincent Chirico, Leah Cohen, David Felton, Edi Frauneder, Daniel Holzman, Pete Lipson, Tony Maws, Jonah Miller, Todd Mitgang, Dale Talde and Sean Telo.
KNIFE FIGHT is produced for Esquire Network by Flower Films and Authentic Entertainment. For Flower Films, Drew Barrymore and Nancy Juvonen are executive producers; co-executive producers are Ember Truesdell, Chris Miller and Kelly Smith. For Authentic Entertainment, Lauren Lexton, Tom Rogan and J.C. Begley are executive producers. Ilan Hall, Rich Kim and Kevin Johnston are executive producers.
