Fighting To Win The Biggest Hashtag Battle In Sports History

NEW YORK, NY - April 30, 2015 - SHOWTIME Sports has amplified the fan experience surrounding the fight of the century, the welterweight world championship unification super fight between 11-time, five-division world champion Floyd "Money" Mayweather and eight-division world champion Manny "PacMan" Pacquiao across all digital and mobile platforms. Beyond the ring, the battle moves into the social media space, as SHOWTIME Sports and HBO(R) are working with Twitter and Facebook to make #MayPac become the biggest hashtag in sports history. In addition to producing a daily online show during Fight Week, SHOWTIME Sports will also give fans unprecedented access to additional fight content across major social media platforms including SnapChat, TUMBLR, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.

During Fight Week, SHOWTIME Sports is producing a daily online show called #MayPac:Daily, hosted by SHOWTIME Sports personality Mauro Ranallo. Additionally, SHOWTIME Sports has launched a new boxing destination on TUMBLR titled Pound for Pound, which documents the key moments leading up to the Mayweather vs. Pacquiao super fight.
