101 WAYS TO KILL YOUR EX (IFC, New!) - Erin Simon and Kim Karp have sold a single-camera comedy to the cable channel in which "jilted by their respective partners, a woman and a man team up to exact down and dirty revenge on the lovers who did them wrong." No other details were given. (Deadline.com)

INTO THE BADLANDS (AMC/eOne; W: Al Gough & Miles Millar; D: David Dobkin) - Marton Csokas (The Equalizer) has joined the cast of the upcoming drama, a genre-bending martial arts series very loosely based on the classic Chinese tale "Journey to the West." In a land controlled by feudal barons, the series tells the story of a ruthless, well-trained warrior named Sunny (Daniel Wu) and a young boy, M.K. (Aramis Knight), who embark on a journey across a dangerous land to find enlightenment. He'll play Quinn, "the most powerful baron in the Badlands, who spent his youth patrolling the Badlands and killing." Madeleine Mantock, Ally Ioannides, Emily Beecham, Sarah Bolger, Orla Brady and Oliver Stark also star. (Deadline.com)

AND IN OTHER NEWS... - HBO has reportedly give a 10-episode order to its David Fincher-helmed comedy pilot "Living on Video," about the players of the exploding music video industry of the 1980s (Deadline.com); FOX's pilots "Minority Report" and "Grandpa" are among the latest said to be staffing in anticipation of series pickups (Deadline.com); former "Homeland" executive producer Alex Cary has signed a two-year overall deal with Universal Television (Deadline.com); Andy Buckley is bound for FXX's "You're the Worst" as "Jimmy's (Chris Geere) agent, who has grown weary of his client's posturing" (THR.com); and Orlando Jones's Frank Irving will not return for the third season of "Sleepy Hollow" (Variety.com).
